Overview

Our Data Engineering education is based on practical familiarization with one of the most popular programming languages in the world, Python, and the popular open-source solutions Apache Spark and Apache Kafka. The education includes the entire process of practical overview of the basic principles of the mentioned technologies with the application of the best practices in software development.

Audience

This training is intended for all those interested, regardless of previous knowledge, whether you are a beginner in programming or want to upgrade your knowledge.

What you will learn

Basics of programming in Python, basics of object-oriented programming, basic database principles, connecting to a database and retrieving data from a database.

Basic principles of Apache Kafka, creating a Kafka Topic using a graphical interface, creating a Kafka Producer/Consumer in a console interface and using the Python programming language.

The basic application of Apache Spark, the DataFrame data structure and the basics of Spark Streaming.

    In this module, you will learn the basics of the Python programming language through theory and practical exercises, and further expand your knowledge by creating 2 practical projects.
